ENQUIRE

The print ‘Flight – A Picture for Molly’ was made as a tribute to the death of my niece aged 10 weeks old. I was sitting on the pier at Melby in Sandness, in great sadness at this premature death, when I noticed the dandelion seeds being blown across the sea. In my mind these seeds symbolised the promise of new life and rebirth as they drifted on the wind towards an unknown destination. That night through tears I drew this print.
