This etching is set in a Black Country bar I used to go to . The incredible drinking man drinks his beer whilst the lone gambler fills the fruit machine with coins.
On the TV is pornography and the beer bottles are held as if to symbolise masturbation. This is a men’s pub and the few women are sitting at the back. The bar man has a guilty conscience whilst the stoned man stares into space. Outside people vomit on the footpath.
