ENQUIRE

Painted during a period of spiritual searching this work explores the life spirit of water in an urban environment that does not value this water. The canals of the black country were constructed to accommodate barges to enable transportation of the large-scale mineral deposits of the area. At times they have been heavily polluted and devoid of life , no more than a utility and recourse, however during the latter years as the industry has subsided the water has become clean, and life has returned. Carp swim freely amongst the Roach and Tench and in the factory on the right to my mom stamps out pieces of metal whilst all around stories unfold.
