The Simmer dim is the time of year in Shetland either side of the mid-summer solstice light for almost 24 hours a day. The land glows deep orange humming like a fairy tale where time is suspended and dreams become reality.
The moorland bird sings a cacophony as the trout rise all around creating ever increasing circles in the calmness of the lochs.
A celebration of the abundance of life in this time of plenty.
